I am particularly happy with firefox huge variety of add-ons plugins and this is precisely why i prefer firefox as my default browsers. It makes life easier for many day to day operations.

One of the extension developers who presented at the Tokyo DevDay, Akatsuka-san, has an extension similar to me.dium. His is called Wakurawa and essentially does the same thing- allows one to see other people who are on the same site you are on at the same time you are on that site. He chooses to use the status bar area to display icons for other users.

    Hey John.

Thanks for the post. We're looking forward to what the Firefox fans think of surfing with friends and other Firefox users.

    All the best.

AllPeers is ok, but only one of my friends uses firefox, so it's pretty much less useless for me. I use GigaTribe, which is great for swapping huge files with friends, http://www.gigatribe.com
